Seminars, workshops, mentorships, one-to-one training

I provide a variety of scriptwriting courses, seminars and workshops on scriptwriting and creativity under pressure for new and experienced writers, producers, directors, academics, games writers script developers and, increasingly, advertising and business executives. I have given classes for many organisations at the highest level all over the world, including Tisch NYU, Columbia (New York), BBC, Berkeley, FAMU, Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival, London University, Great American Pitchfest, DFFB, Swedish Film Institute, London Screenwriters' Festival, The Script Factory, NFTS, Sources 2 (Berlin) CEEA (Paris) and many more. The content of these courses ranges from basic screenwriting, to idea generation, to advanced non-linear story theories. These courses are sometimes restricted to the public, often they are open to the public. If the latter, I advertise them on my home page, my blog and twitter.
If you represent an organisation and would like to talk to me about a bespoke course, seminar or workshop for your staff or story team, then feel free to contact me directly.
Mentorships

When I have time I offer personalised training and advice to writers of all levels. I usually advertise my availability forthese, but you can contact me at any time to enquire about them and get your name put on my waiting list. Mentorships are my favourite form of teaching and they involve me teaching writers one-to-one in private, either in person or by telephone or Skype locally or internationally.
If you are interested in finding out more about the mentorships I offer, including costs, time commitment and format, please contact me directly.
